“Can I just call you ‘Appa’ once?” – Emotional Stalin wrote to Karunanidhi

Chennai: After the demise of DMK leader M Karunanidhi, party executive president MK Stalin wrote a passionate letter to his father. Karunanidhi’s younger son and political heir Stalin wrote in his letter that in most of my life, I replaced the Appa (father) in most of the time as Thalaiva (ie Thalaivare). But now what can I once call you ‘Appa’?
